  • "We had the privilege of being part of A Place to Grow family with all three of my boys over a 10 year period. A Place to Grow provided my kids with a structured and loving environment that allowed my boys to develop early development and social skills in a nurturing environment. My boys formed friendships that have bonded them for a lifetime"

  • "Our three daughters have gone to A Place to Grow for 6+ years. It’s hard to put into words how much we have loved the experience. From the first day our daughters attended, they felt at home - it is truly a place for kids to be kids, playing, imagining and developing through unstructured play coupled with group activities. We can’t recommend A Place to Grow highly enough and will miss it once our youngest starts kindergarten."

    — Christian + Ana

  • "We are so appreciative of this preschool experience and credit our daughter's strong bilingual skills today to those formative years. The small group environment was nurturing and we loved the focus on building social skills in small group activities, time outside and music. Highly recommended!"

    — Meike

  • "The small, close-knit community of children spanning different ages proved to be an ideal environment where the older ones assisted and nurtured the younger ones, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support."

  • "“A Place to Grow” about sums it up! I volunteered frequently at the school and had a front row seat watching children learn new skills and gain confidence. The days at school are filled with activities and crafts, but there is also quiet time to calm down and learn how to focus. Most important though is play time in the big yard. It’s more than the typical playground – it’s a mixture of Adventureland and nature park. Of course, there is the usual swing, a sandbox, and a mud kitchen. But there is also a train, and an airplane, as well as a little garden where vegetables are planted, nurtured, and eaten, and even a hen house. No wonder the kids just love to be outside! Parents shouldn’t mind their kids getting dirty and be prepared to dress them for any type of weather, because there won’t be a day, they aren’t outside. Learning German almost comes as a side effect – but it always amazed me, how fast and easy the kids picked up the foreign language."

  • "Our daughter's time at A Place to Grow was instrumental in teaching her German sounds at a critical stage of language development. The school struck the right balance between structure and free time, while being incredibly caring."

  • "Finding a home away from home for my two kids with the benefits of them learning my native language at the same time was priceless. All of us found lifelong friends here and even now in their teens, my kids always reminisce of their time at the school."

    — Heidi

  • "From day one my daughter felt comfortable, happy and safe. The teachers are warm and creative and ensure ample outside play, often most of the day. We also enjoy the very healthy food/snack options and the general attitude towards teaching the children healthy habits. Since this is a small preschool setting, everyone felt more like a family."

    — Katja

  • "The quality of the education encompasses not only the German language and routine, but loving care provided with nature as an asset to the entire childcare experience. Our children have thrived in this environment, enjoying their outside time, walks in town and to playgrounds and exciting field trips. "
