A Place To Grow

A Place To Grow is more than a preschool, we are a true village for our families in Cary, NC. Raising empowered little ones is at the core of everything we’ve built. We offer a Montessori-style, play-led learning environment (just off Cary’s downtown) that brings your children out of the classroom and into a world of exploration.
Our program provides a unique opportunity for children (ages 2-6) to learn German, prepare for Kindergarten, and build strong foundations for their future. Our curriculum is anchored in experiential learning that takes place mostly outside! We believe learning happens through living and it's our job to facilitate those experiences for our littles.
The German Way
The German influence extends far beyond the language immersion of our day-to-day. The German Way includes outings like field trips to museums and the zoo, interaction with our local firefighters, and of course public transportation! We take our students on Amtrak trains and buses to explore the Triangle.
At A Place To Grow, education is more than test scores and kindergarten prep. We spend our time developing our students into holistic humans. Your child will experience a true community that is developmentally appropriate, while pushing them to learn life skills and traditional milestones.

Every student brings a healthy, packed lunch from home. We provide fresh snacks and water throughout the day.

We are a year round preschool and take new students throughout the year, depending on openings.

We do not list our address publicly to increase school security. For the past 16 years, we have operated as a word of mouth program and that intimacy is something we treasure.

By capping our school at twelve spots per year, we create a family-like culture, where each child is known and loved by us.
We believe every child is different and raising intelligent, little people takes a community.
Our program encourages preschoolers to learn at their own pace, building lasting confidence to take with them into the world.
